Professional summary:
With over a decade leading design and engineering adjacent teams, and more than 25 years working at the intersection of design, product and technology, I have spent my career turning ambiguous problems into shipped products, and designers into confident decision makers.
Since cofounding Diagonal Dev in 2013 I have led multidisciplinary teams of up to 12 professionals, working across time zones and languages. That has meant owning technical recruitment from end to end, covering sourcing, screening for skills and English fluency, coordinating technical challenges and evaluating candidates alongside engineering teams. It has also meant running performance reviews and acting as the cross functional bridge between local teams and global stakeholders.
I have owned Design Systems from the ground up, driven product development from discovery to delivery, and consistently operated where design, engineering and business strategy meet.
What I am studying and where I am heading:
Today I am deepening that intersection from the engineering side.
I am actively studying Java and currently working through object oriented programming fundamentals, with Kotlin next on my roadmap. This is backed by a formal degree in Computer Systems Analysis from FIAP, concluded between 2022 and 2023, which already covered Domain Driven Design, Spring Boot and microservices architecture, relational and NoSQL databases, DevOps and Cloud fundamentals, and automated testing.
This is not a reinvention. It is the technical layer under the leadership I have practised since 2013.
My goal is an Engineering Manager or technical leadership role where people management, delivery ownership, and enough hands on fluency to earn a team's trust all matter equally.
I am open to Engineering Manager, Technical Lead or hybrid Design Engineering roles. Let's build something meaningful together.

I lead product design for an internal data platform, validating solutions through qualitative research, usability testing and A/B testing. I own the LANXESS Design System together with the Front End engineering team, defining standards and scalable components with consistency, accessibility and usability across products. I also lead the Brazilian team, mentoring designers and running international hiring with the German team.
